Resources
The Scouts BSA program is the traditional Scouting program that focuses on outdoor survival skills alongside character and leadership development. For the first time in its more than 100-year history, the iconic program of the Boy Scouts of America is open to young women.
FUN, ADVENTURE & CHALLENGES
Scouts BSA is a year-round program for boys and girls in fifth grade through high school that provides fun, adventure, learning, challenges and responsibility to help them become the best version of themselves.
Open to Boys & Girls
Even though the Scouts BSA program is open to boys and girls, it is important to note that Troops are not co-ed. Boys will participate in the program in a Troop of only boys and girls will participate in girl-only Troops. The program is the same regardless of gender, and all Scouts are provided opportunities to explore hobby interests, attend summer camp and achieve rank advancements.
