Purpose:
As Unit Leaders guide their Scouts, and work to connect individual Scouts with the right Merit Badge Counselor for them, it’s sometimes important to know more about a Merit Badge Counselor than what’s immediately available through the ScoutBook listings. It can help to know about thier personality type, what their Scouting history is, how they prefer to communicate, and how busy they might be at different times of the year.
This event aims to provide Unit Key-3 Leaders an opportunity to meet the Swimming Merit Badge Counselors from across LaSalle Council for a conversation. This is a virtual event, and invites will be sent to Unit Key-3 Leaders via email to preserve the integrity of the Merit Badge Process, which first and formeost begins with a conversation between Unit Leader and Scout.

The full list of Merit Badge Counselors (searchable and sortable by Merit Badge) can always be found by any Scouts BSA Unit Key-3 Leader by logging into your ScoutBook account (scoutbook.scouting.org) and clicking on the “MB Counselor List” link. If you are a Unit Key-3 Leader and do not see the link, contact the Counsel Registrar to confirm your account settings and permissions.
