Mayor Jon Costas will be honored as the 2026 recipient of the Porter County Good Scout Award, recognizing individuals who exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their personal and professional lives. His leadership has helped shape transformative projects such as Central Park Plaza, Urschel Pavilion, and other redevelopment efforts.
Proceeds benefit Scouting programs across Porter County. Chartered by service clubs, schools, churches, etc., Scouting helps young people grown in leadership, character, and civic responsibility.
